This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, comfortable rooms, and a lovely bar area. On my first stay, the staff even provided bug spray. I highly recommend the warm service! I’m coming back for the new year....

I had a lovely experience at this historic building, appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that set me up perfectly for exploring nearby landmarks like St Marys Pleasance Garden, just a few steps away, and the scenic Amisfield Walled Garden, which was only a short stroll at about 1 km.

Just a balanced option for a day tour in Haddington with best value for money ratio. The breakfast was good and clean, which added a nice touch to my stay. Be prepared for some repair issues around the property, though.

The room was cozy, and the electric shower was a nice upgrade. Had a fantastic time exploring nearby golf spots!

I had a lovely stay during my golf trip, with highlights being the fantastic full Scottish breakfast and the genuine friendliness of the staff, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The nearby golf courses and a charming walk through the local area added to the experience. the exterior of the hotel could use some freshening up to enhance first impressions.

stayed for 2 nights n it was realy comfy. the staff was super friendly and helpful. food was amazin, had dinner at the hotel n loved the homemade soups. the room was clean and cozy, perfect for some relaxation....  

Absolutely adored the friendly staff—such gems! The location's lovely for countryside strolls, and I had a splendidly comfy room for my solo adventure. Really made me feel right at home!

But goodness, those beds were firmer than an eviction notice! And the shower? It had less power than a sleepy sloth!

Nice staff, but needs a fix

Had a night in a standard single room. The staff were super friendly, especially Matthew. Breakfast was decent but not very filling, and I wish they’d ditch those individual sauce packets. Oh, and there were buckets collecting rain in the lobby, so that was a bit of a downer.
